Closed fishing season 15th March to 15th June

Please adhere to the closed season rulings on the Warping drain and the non tidal River Trent at Lady Pit farm !

Simple guidelines to help the environment and wildlife.

You do not have to do much to safeguard the countryside and wildlife, it will take very little input from you to make a big difference overall as long as you are aware that you are fishing in an an environment that demands your respect and awareness.

The best thing that you could do for the environment is leave it alone !, be vigilant to pollution and the natural habitat of nesting birds when in season, it goes without saying that you should never leave litter of any sort this includes line which can be one of the most damaging things to the bird population.

Before you fish always take into account your proximity to any nesting birds, water voles or insect life that may have taken residence on or close to your peg, if you find that this is the case then do not disturb these creatures and find another spot if you are able to do so, be aware of any overhanging branches or plant life in and around the water as these often contain insects or water born creatures that you cannot see, if you need to trim the weed growth back to give you access to your peg then do it sympathetically, do not take it upon yourself to trim any trees or make major alterations to any of the S.P.A.C venues if you have a concern then report it to a senior club member or the elected venue site manager.
