We are
pleased
to
announce
the club
have a
new lake
at
Dunholme,
26 miles
from
Scunthorpe.
This
well
established
lake
contains
plenty
of good
sized,
Carp
into
20’s,
Bream to
double
figures,
Huge
Tench,
plus
Roach,
Perch
etc. And
rumours
of a big
Catfish.
The lake
has not
been
fished
for over
a year
and work
needs to
be done
on the
old
pegs,
tree &
weed
cutting.
Directions
are as
follows:
From
Scunthorpe
go on
A18 up
to
Forest
Pines
roundabout
and Turn
Right
onto
A15.
Continue
for 23
miles.
at
roundabout
just
past
Scampton
Air
field
turn
Left
onto
Horncastle
Lane.
After
2.5
miles
Turn
Left
onto A46
for just
under a
mile,
then
Turn
Left
again
onto
Lincoln
Road.
This
becomes
the
Market
Rasen
Road.
You will
see the
Lord
Nelson
Pub (LN2
3QR) on
the
left.
Continue
for
approx
340
Yards.
The
Entrance
to our
Club
water is
down a
lane
before
the last
2
bungalows
on the
Left. We
hope to
have one
of our
signs
posted
at this
entrance
soon.
Follow
the
track
around 1st
field
bearing
left at
the top,
then
right
near the
trees.
