The club have received a call from the owners of
Ingham Lake. Although the season is only
6 days old they have already had
complaints from the general public about
the speed of vehicles been driven down
the lane to our water and it looks like
the Parish council may also be getting
involved. The lane is a public right of
way and the owners have asked that speed
is limited to 5 mph to avoid conflict
with walkers. If the complaints continue
then there is obviously the possibility
of losing the water which I'm sure
no-one wants.
We would appreciate it if all members
will pass it on the message to
friends/colleagues who may not have
Internet access.

Thanks
Ron
Fishery Manager - Ingham
Please make sure you have your current membership
book and a current rod license with you
when come to fish or you will be asked
to leave, Our Bailiff has already
removed two people who had forgotten
theirs and while they may have been
genuine you are not allowed to fish
without them (no excuses). Also please
do not block the bridleway/farm track
that leads up to and past the lake,
there is ample room to park without
causing an obstruction.
At the moment the fishing seems a bit
slow, some nice carp up to 18lb 5oz have
come out as have some bream up to 4lb
but no big bags of anything yet, we
would appreciate some catch reports from
you.
