A STUNNING WATER

Fishery Manager is Ron Fox Tel: 07546813400

The club have received a call from the owners of Ingham Lake. Although the season is only 6 days old they have already had complaints from the general public about the speed of vehicles been driven down the lane to our water and it looks like the Parish council may also be getting involved. The lane is a public right of way and the owners have asked that speed is limited to 5 mph to avoid conflict with walkers. If the complaints continue then there is obviously the possibility of losing the water which I'm sure no-one wants.

We would appreciate it if all members will pass it on the message to friends/colleagues who may not have Internet access.

Thanks
Ron

Please make sure you have your current membership book and a current rod license with you when come to fish or you will be asked to leave, Our Bailiff has already removed two people who had forgotten theirs and while they may have been genuine you are not allowed to fish without them (no excuses). Also please do not block the bridleway/farm track that leads up to and past the lake, there is ample room to park without causing an obstruction.

At the moment the fishing seems a bit slow, some nice carp up to 18lb 5oz have come out as have some bream up to 4lb but no big bags of anything yet, we would appreciate some catch reports from you.

DIRECTIONS

From Scunthorpe, turn off the A15 into Ingham lane then take the first Right (towards Fillingham the B1398). Turn at first left onto High Street. Follow it down into the village past the church when you come to a sharp left bend turn right which is sign posted Ingham Village Only (High St West), you will see the Black Horse pub on your right follow that narrow, bendy road down past the Inn on the Green (Sat Nav LN1 2XT) until you see a caravan park with old Windmill, on the right you will see a Red Poo Box and sign for Short lane (then dirt track) go down there straight over the staggered cross roads (right and then left) about 800 yards on the right is a small wood surrounding the lake.
