Haven Trent Pond (Mortons)

Fishery Manager is Andy Kemp Tel: 07941317373

Please Remember - NO NIGHT FISHING !!

We are pleased to announce that the club has taken on the long term lease of the Haven Trent Pond.

This is on Black Bank Lane nr. Messingham.

We now have a gate with our combination lock to protect members privacy, please make sure you lock the gate behind you.

This good mixed fishery with easy access was a very popular day ticket venue and the club is delighted that many anglers have joined the Pisces club just to fish this pond. It just proves what good value the membership is. The club has made and will continue to make some timely alterations to improve the general appearance and appeal. Many of the old overgrown trees have been removed on the far bank and new pegs will be installed as needed. There is one dedicated wheelchair ONLY peg, to cater for anyone in the club confined to a wheelchair. It is clearly signed and not for general use unless in a match.

DIRECTIONS

From Scunthorpe on Scotter Rd (A159) towards Gainsborough. Take the next Right turn after Catchwater Crossroads, sign-posted Susworth and E. Butterwick, this is Black Bank Lane. Continue down this single road for 2.25 miles where you will see on the right our RED gates with Club Sign.

The pond is fishing well with good Carp, Tench, Perch, Rudd and Roach all feeding well. The biggest Carp reported so far is 13lb. Most methods work well but maggott feeder seems to be one of the best with Pole tactics a close second place.

The pond looking really well with a few new pegs installed and plenty of fish topping.
